A two-screen video installation presented in a wheelbarrow, featuring old, rusty iron scrap collected from the property over the years. This work premiered at the site-specific exhibition VILL / TEMMA – WILD / DOMESTICATED Exhibition May 22- 25, 2025 in Nordre Frogn. The exhibition as a whole was a remote part of EDO 2025 in Olomouc, Czech Republic. https://www.ekologickednyolomouc.cz/l/liv-nome/
The installation was also invited to join the local art event at Blylaget Community Hall on August 2, 2025.
Over the past couple of decades, I’ve collected old, rusty tools and discarded utilitarian objects that I’ve found while clearing my property. Their history lies untold within them. Someone used these objects before; they were important for building a home and cultivating the land. In a pile, they are transformed into something other than their original function—something sensually unfamiliar yet naturally recognizable.

Throughout the video, on one of the screens, we follow the process of the wheelbarrow being filled with the pile of rusty tools. The ambient soundscape from working with the objects, humming, and nature accompanies the action in the video. On the other screen, a tea break is shown in a loop.
